1. Modern Vampire is based on the folklore in the Southeastern Europe in the 18th century

2. Because of the beliefs about vampires, in that time there was a massacre of the people that were belief to be a vampire

3. The Persians is the first nation to have a folklore about bloodsucking creature
               
4. The first vampire in fiction is Lord Ruthven. He’s from a story ‘The Vampyre’ that was written by John Polidori

5. The vampire story we know was inspired from 2 people, Vlad Tepes and Elizabeth Bathory
                                                                                                                                                  
6. Elizabeth Bathory was a Hungarian queen in the 16th century who was a murderer who like to have a bath in her victims blood because she believed that it can keep her youth

7. Vlad Tepes was the leader of Wallachia, Transylvania who like to torture his enemies

8.Vlad Tepes’ Russian name is Dracula, which means dragon

9. In 1985, Dr.David H. Dolphin reveals that Porphyria is the reason for vampire

10. Poryphoria is a disease which infects 1 of 10000 people

11. Poryphoria is not contagious so when people is bitten then turn into a vampire as well is a myth

12. Porphyria symptoms:

1.Sensitive with sunlight
When the patient’s skin interacts with sunlight, their skin will blackens and swollen

2. Drink blood
The patient needs to drink animal blood to reduce their anemia and their pain

3. Fear of garlic
Garlic contains a chemical that can worsen their pain. The patient can experienced an incredible pain because of garlic

4. Fangs
The lips of the patient will be pulled backwards so that their teeth will look like fangs
